The insider explained to The Sun that Helen’s engagement ring broke earlier this year and the couple also went through a “rough patch” during summer.
The source said: “She’s into all things spiritual and had a feeling so she sought guidance from a psychic medium.
"Helen and Scott really tried to work on their relationship but ultimately she saw the ring breaking as a bad omen and one that meant she shouldn’t get married.”

Hide AdHelen and Scott, who are parents to Matilda, seven, Delilah, four, and Charlie, one, haven’t spoken publicly about their separation. In recent months, they had to spend considerable time apart due to their busy work schedules.
The former Coronation Street star was first pictured without her engagement ring in an Instagram post celebrating her birthday in August. She referenced a “new chapter” in the cryptic caption as she gushed about her “lovely” weekend of celebrations.
Helen also was seen without her engagement ring at the Pride Of Britain Awards last Monday and in a Halloween snap uploaded to Instagram yesterday.
A source told Mail Online that Helen has been continuing to work as normal rather than allowing her “personal life to bring her down”.

“The children are their world and main priority, and they will always ensure nothing affects them.”
