Penn Park attack: woman arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Old Trafford

A woman has been taken into custody for questioning in Manchester.

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a serious assault in Old Trafford.

The 37-year-old woman was taken into police custody for questioning on Sunday.

It comes after a man was left with life-threatening injuries following an assault at Penn Park on Monday 12 September.

No update has been given today on the man’s condition.
