Oldham crash: two men charged over death of Alisha Goup, 16, in Royton
Omar Choudhury and Hamidur Rahman are due before a court on Monday following a fatal accident on Rochdale Road.

Two men have been charged in connection with a fatal crash on Rochdale Road in Royton, Oldham.
Alisha Goup, 16, from Royton, was seriously injured when she was struck by a car on a pavement on 23 February. Emergency services attended but she sadly died at the scene from her injuries.

Hide AdGMP said Omar Choudhury, 21, of Royton and Hamidur Rahman, 23, of Oldham, have now both been charged with causing death by dangerous driving. They have been remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on Monday (27 February 2023.)
