Manchester Piccadilly: Trains delays and cancellations due to breakdown

Train services in Manchester have been hit by some delays and cancellations on Thursday afternoon (2 December), after a train broke down between Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport.

A statement from National Rail at 2.40pm said: “A broken down train between Manchester Airport and Manchester Piccadilly means that some lines are blocked. As a result, trains may be cancelled or delayed. This is expected until 4.30pm.”
