Hit entertainment show Ninja Warrior UK is back for a brand new series and ITV will be filming the competition in Manchester this week. Mancunians can be part of the audience for free with the programme taking place at Manchester Central.

When is Ninja Warrior UK being filmed in Manchester?
The new series will record at Manchester Central on Tuesday 9 August and Wednesday 10 August 2022. There are an array of slots available, as shown below.

How to get free tickets for Ninja Warrior UK in Manchester
In order to gain access and become an audience member for Ninja Warrior UK, you need to apply via the SRO Audiences website. The minimum age to watch is 8 years old, and children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Successful applicants are randomly selected and those lucky enough to be picked will immediately be issued tickets via email. The good news is that all tickets are free, so if you are chosen you won’t have to pay a penny to see the action-packed show in action.
What is Ninja Warrior UK?
Hosted by Ben Shephard, Chris Kamara and Rochelle Humes, Ninja Warrior UK is an obstacle course TV series inspired by Japanese programme Sasuka. 250 competitors from across the UK take on six obstacles in the first stage of the show in a bid to qualify for the later phases.

Hide AdIf contestants manage to get through the first round, they will take on an even tougher challenge with nine obstacles in a semi-final, and then there’s a grand final which is split into four different parts.
The series that is being filmed in Manchester this week is the sixth since its original release in April 2015.
