The Bee Network has been forced to come out and shut down Facebook posts that claim to promote free travel. Going by the name ‘Bee-Smart Card’ the account shows the Bee Network’s ‘Bee Card’ to promote a free travel promotion.

The post promoting free travel suggests passengers can win a Smart Cad with a significant balance for just £2.35. It says: “We're giving away £150 from Bee Network, we're doing a promotion, every Facebook user can win a Smart Card with a £150 balance, for just £2.35!”

It then goes on to add a link to where you can enter a raffle to be in with a chance of winning the card. The Bee Network has been quick to clamp down on the page, saying they are not connected.
