The Duchess of Cornwall has paid a visit to Manchester city centre today (3 May) to launch a new exhibition.
Camilla attended Manchester Central Library to meet photographer Allie Crewe and some of the people she pictured for her I Am exhibition, which highlights the impact of domestic abuse. The work was developed with UK charity SafeLives, where Camilla is a patron.
The Duchess called the photos ‘moving and inspiring’. They will be shown in St Peter’s Square and on Metrolink trams.
She also attended an event to promote the Jubilee Big Lunch community event which will take place in June to tie in with the Queen’s jubilee events.
