Co-op Live: Where to park, seating plan and capacity for Peter Kay, UFC and Take That

The countdown to the opening of Co-op Live is almost over, but it is a wait that seems to have gone on for an eternity. Announcements this week mean that Peter Kay and The Black Keys gigs will now be pushed back a month.

The Peter Kay shows were originally cancelled just a day before the first was due to take place on April 23. Co-op Live issued a statement, and this left some fans out of pocket and unable to get to the rearranged dates.

Peter Kay is due to perform now on May 23 and 24, with The Black Keys taking to the stage on May 15, and the gigs after that will then come thick and fast. The likes of Liam Gallagher, Take That, The Killers, Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj all coming to this corner of Manchester.

Tickets for all of the gigs announced so far are on sale now, with several having sold out through the year. All of the ticketing information you need is available on the Co-op Live website.

It’s not everyday that a new, huge music venue gets built in a city, and it's safe to say plenty of people will be looking forward to it. Ahead of its opening, we’ve rounded up the information which you’ll need the most. 

Co-op Live opening date and capacity

When fully complete and open, Co-op Live will have a maximum capacity of 23,500. For context, this will make it the biggest indoor arena in the country. The AO Arena in Manchester is currently the biggest with a top capacity of 21,000, soon rising to 23,000, and London’s O2 Arena would slip to third with its 20,000 capacity. 

Where to park for Co-op Live

Co-op Live will be located nearby the Etihad Campus and Etihad Stadium. Instead of driving to the venue, Co-op Live has said that they are actively encouraging fans to utilise public transport and the redeveloped walking route. They did however add that accessible parking will be available.

With this in mind, the easiest way to get to the venue will be via the Metrolink. There are several stops located within a walking distance of the site, including Etihad Campus. 

If you do need to drive to the venue then parking options are available. Spots are released four weeks ahead of an event and an be bought for £25 through the Co-op Live website.

The depiction provided by Ticketmaster is a general view, and Co-op Live adds that an accurate plan for each event will be available at the point of purchasing tickets.
