But there is no rest for the wicked as 2024 is already shaping up to be a bumper year of international and national events in Manchester, plus some exciting new developments for the city.
One development that we will not be expecting this year, however, is the reopening of our Town Hall. The multi-million pound renovation was slated for a 2024 completion, but it’s looking like we will have to wait another couple of years for that, sadly.

Manchester has been named the first ever European Capital of Cycling for 2024. More details about what this will entail will be revealed in 2024, but it’s safe to say we can expect lots of cycling-related events. | Manchester City Council
3. Michelin Awards ceremony
