The Libertines are set to be back in the spotlight during 2024, with a new album and extensive tour on the horizon. ‘All Quiet On The Eastern Esplanade’ is set for release at the end of March, and will be their first new record in nine years.

The Libertines announced one date in Manchester initially. Then, due to overwhelming demand, they added a second date - both of which are at the Albert Hall. Not satisfied with the two nights in Manchester, the band have now announced a third and final evening in town. The demand to see these new songs in person means that this third date, which is November 9, will most likely join the other two in selling out fairly quickly.

The Libertines' last Manchester appearance was at Sounds of the City back in 2022. This was part of the anniversary tour to mark 20 years of their debut album ‘Up The Bracket’.

Between 2004 and 2016, the band made no Manchester appearances. This was during a time where they went on hiatus, and returned in 2015 with the album ‘Anthems for Doomed Youth’.
