House prices in Manchester: the 10 neighbourhoods where price tags are falling - including Didsbury and Cheetham Hill
The fluctuating property market in Manchester continues to rise and fall.
A number of neighbourhoods in Manchester have seen their average house price fall this year according to data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS).
While most areas of the city have seen prices rise, in some cases by as much as 40%, at the other end of the spectrum home owners could have seen as much as 23% fall from their property's value.
Here are the 10 Manchester areas that saw prices fall by the most by September 2022 - images are for illustration purposed only.
1. Hulme & University
Hulme & University saw the 10th largest fall in house prices in the year to September 2022. House prices dropped 5.3 per cent - equal to £9,525 off the average value.
2. Openshaw & Gorton North
Openshaw & Gorton North saw the 9th largest fall in house prices in the year to September 2022. House prices dropped 7.1 per cent - equal to £12,995 off the average value.
3. Crumpsall South
Crumpsall South saw the 8th largest fall in house prices in the year to September 2022. House prices dropped 8.6 per cent - equal to £16,000 off the average value.
4. Belle Vue & West Gorton
Belle Vue & West Gorton saw the 6th largest fall in house prices in the year to September 2022. House prices dropped 10.1 per cent - equal to £17,500 off the average value.
