A number of neighbourhoods in Manchester have seen their average house price fall this year according to data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS).
While most areas of the city have seen prices rise, in some cases by as much as 40%, at the other end of the spectrum home owners could have seen as much as 23% fall from their property's value.

5. Cheetham Hill
Cheetham Hill saw the 4th largest fall in house prices in the year to September 2022. House prices dropped 11.9 per cent - equal to £23,030 off the average value.
6. Whalley Range North
Whalley Range North saw the 7th largest fall in house prices in the year to September 2022. House prices dropped 9.8 per cent - equal to £27,375 off the average value.
7. City Centre North & Collyhurst
City Centre North & Collyhurst saw the 5th largest fall in house prices in the year to September 2022. House prices dropped 10.6 per cent - equal to £28,476 off the average value.
8. Didsbury Village
Didsbury Village saw the 3rd largest fall in house prices in the year to September 2022. House prices dropped 16.4 per cent - equal to £65,912 off the average value.
