32 nostalgic pictures taking you right back to Hacienda dancefloor featuring Happy Mondays and Noel Gallagher

Long gone, but never, ever forgotten - these pictures transport you back to a magical time for Manchester music and culture.

When people think of clubbing and Manchester - usually only one place comes to mind. The Hacienda may have shut way back in 1997 but its impact on the city will never be forgotten.

Founded and managed by Factory Records co-creator Tony Wilson, the club was at the heart of the Madchester scene around bands such as New Order and also played a huge role in the creation of the British acid house and rave scenes.

We hope these nostalgic pictures, featuring the Happy Mondays, Primal Scream, Noel Gallagher, Chemical Brothers and more take you right back to the dancefloor in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
