I was put through my paces at the new Rudy's Manchester pizza academy and made one big error

In July, the Neapolitan legend opened their 27th pizzeria in Altrincham as their expansion continues around the country. Part of the business’ plan for growth includes a new Pizza Academy in Manchester which opened in August. 

A neighbourhood pizzeria at heart, Rudy’s is committed to authenticity, and has found a solution to protecting this by investing in training. The facility is designed to train upcoming pizzaiolos through all stages of pizza-making as the iconic brand looks to grow and not compromise on what made them so popular in the first place. 

Here at Manchester World we love a Rudy’s and as part of the opening we were invited to go down and see if we were any good at making the legendary pizzas. We got more than a little help from academy manager Dario. Watch the video above to see how we got on.
