Hide AdManaging director and owner of Cloudwater, Paul Jones, said: “If people haven’t been to a craft brewery before it is a really good place to go and get educated on what beer is and how it is made. Even if you are not into beer, you might be surprised and find something else you really like! We hope that craft beer will become more and more visible to folk in the mainstream, but we are not in a rush because it is fun to serve a real speciality market - the people that come here tend to have a really great time and love what we do and that makes the experience feel really special.”
Just a short distance from the Northern Quarter and Ancoats, Cloudwater was established in 2015 and aims to offer people variety and new experiences. Starting with seasonal one-off beers, the business has grown and created a wide selection of beers ranging from reliable everyday beers to heady intense unique brews and double IPAs that they are famous for.
From traditional beers, to remaking historic drinks and reimagining beer for a modern audience, Cloudwater employs a lot of creativity through brewing science and sensory workshops when creating new flavours.
Their best seller is ‘Fuzzy’ - a juicy, hazy pale beer and many people are besotted with the work they do with the hops ingredient.
