Alex Ross was editor of Bristol World until August 2023. Alex grew up and started his journalism career in Bristol before moving away to work at some of the country's leading regional titles. He then returned to the city to launch BristolWorld.Stories on drug trafficking in Colombia and sex slavery in the Midlands led to him winning Best Daily Journalist at the Midlands Media Awards in 2018. He was also shortlisted for Best Daily Journalist at the Regional Press Awards.
