Road closures: almost a dozen for Trafford drivers over the next fortnight

Drivers in and around Trafford will have 10 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And six of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing waits of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that 10 closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

• M60, from 11pm November 7 to 6am November 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M60 clockwise J9 to J11 - lane closure for construction - bridge/structure.

• M60, from 11pm November 8 to 6am November 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M60 clockwise J9 to J11 - lane closure for construction - bridge/structure.

• A5103, from 8.30pm November 11 to 5am November 12, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 clockwise and Anticlockwise jct five -7 - A5103 northbound, lane closures and carriageway closures due to maintenance.

• M60, from 8.30pm November 12 to 5am November 13, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 clockwise and Anticlockwise jct five -7 lane closures and carriageway closures due to maintenance.

• A5103, from 11pm November 13 to 5am November 14, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 clockwise, junction 5 - eight Lanes one and two closed with closure of, junction 6 exit and CD link and junction 7 and eight exit and entry slips with ring management on, junction 8 roundabout due to general maintenance works.

• M60, from 11pm November 14 to 5am November 15, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 Anticlockwise, junction 9 - five Lanes one and two closed with closure of, junction 8 exit and CD link and junction 7 and six exit and entry slips with ring management on, junction 8 roundabout due to general maintenance works.

• M60, from 11pm November 14 to 6am November 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M60 clockwise J9 to J11 - lane closure for construction - bridge/structure.

• M60, from 11pm November 15 to 5am November 17, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 both directions, junction 6 to junction 9 - carriageway closure for horticulture.

• M60, from 11pm November 17 to 5am November 19, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 clock and Anticlockwise, junction 11 - six carriageway closure for horticulture works.

• M60, from 11pm November 17 to 6am November 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M60 clockwise J9 to J11 - lane closure for construction - bridge/structure.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
