Good news as food hygiene ratings handed to nine Trafford establishments

A Food Standards Agency rating sticker on a window of a restaurant in central London. A huge variation in food hygiene standards remains across the UK, with one in five high or medium-risk food outlets failing to meet standards, according to a study.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to nine of Trafford’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to seven restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: The Immys charcoal grill at 24 Seymour Grove, Old Trafford, Manchester; rated on June 23

• Rated 5: Jolly's Kafe at 110b Park Road, Timperley, Altrincham; rated on June 22

• Rated 5: Bean & Brush Art Cafe at 51-52 Stanley Square, Sale; rated on June 19

• Rated 5: Haute Dolci at Unit K15, Trafford Centre, Manchester; rated on June 19

• Rated 5: Mardi Gras at 108-111 The Orient, Trafford Centre, Trafford Park, Manchester; rated on June 19

• Rated 5: TGI Fridays at Unit R31 The Great Hall, The Trafford Centre, Manchester; rated on June 19

• Rated 5: Trafford Veterans CIC at St Matthews Hall, Chapel Lane, Stretford, Manchester; rated on June 19
