New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to four of Trafford’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

• Rated 5: Costa Limited at Unit 2 Citygate 1, Cross Street, Sale; rated on October 30

• Rated 5: JJ's Caribbean Kitchen at 12 Victoria Parade, Urmston, Manchester; rated on October 26

• Rated 5: Owen’s Kitchen and Bar at 31 Station Road, Urmston, Manchester; rated on October 26

• Rated 5: L'Amour Cakes at 222 Stockport Road, Timperley, Altrincham; rated on October 25

It means that of Trafford's 499 similar establishments with ratings, 399 (80%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
