New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Trafford’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Oldfield Tandoori, at 122 Seamons Road, Altrincham was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 23.

And The Maharajaa, at 12b Moss Road, Stretford, Manchester was also given a score of three on October 23.

It means that of Trafford's 267 takeaways with ratings, 155 (58%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
