New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Trafford’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The Green Pepper, at 11 Green Lane, Sale was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 15.

And New Hey Lam, at 48 Green Lane, Sale was given a score of one on November 15.

It means that of Trafford's 501 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 404 (81%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
