New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Trafford’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New Gi Foo, at 621 Stretford Road, Old Trafford, Manchester was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 31.

And Massala Lounge, at 3 School Road, Sale was given a score of three on May 31.

It means that of Trafford's 481 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 371 (77%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
