Food hygiene ratings handed to nine Trafford establishments

A Food Standards Agency rating sticker on a window of a restaurant in central London. A huge variation in food hygiene standards remains across the UK, with one in five high or medium-risk food outlets failing to meet standards, according to a study.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to nine of Trafford’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to eight restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Green's at 54-55 Stanley Square, Sale; rated on July 21

• Rated 5: King Pins at Unit C8-C12 Trafford Palzazzo (Formerly Known As Barton Square), Trafford Centre, Phoenix Way, Trafford Park; rated on July 21

• Rated 5: Little Bao Boy at King Pins, Trafford Palazzo; rated on July 21

• Rated 5: PLY at C8-C12 King Pins, Trafford Palazzo; rated on July 21

• Rated 5: Yo Sushi UK within Selfridges at 1 The Dome, The Trafford Centre, Manchester; rated on July 21

• Rated 5: Chez Nous Bistro at 179 Marsland Road, Sale; rated on July 20

• Rated 5: The Old Hall at Old Hall Hotel, Stockport Road, Timperley, Altrincham; rated on April 27

• Rated 4: Roti at 38 Flixton Road, Urmston, Manchester; rated on March 12
