A Tameside takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Romano Pizzeria, a takeaway at 30 Stockport Road, Ashton-Under-Lyne, Tameside was given the score after assessment on April 6, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Tameside's 329 takeaways with ratings, 141 (43%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
