A Tameside takeaway has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

The Chippy, a takeaway at 21 Arundel Street, Mossley, Tameside was given the maximum score after assessment on November 22, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Tameside's 331 takeaways with ratings, 138 (42%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
