Tameside's motorists will have three road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And two of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing holdups of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

M60, from 8pm March 17 to 5am April 14, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 clockwise 24 - 26 lane closures and mainline closures due to resurfacing.

A57, from 8am April 4 to 5pm August 5, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A57 westbound and eastbound, Mottram Moor, lane closures for Cadent gas.

And one more closure will begin over the next seven days:

M67, from 9pm April 21 to 5am April 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M67 westbound, junction 3 - two Lanes one and two westbound, road closure due to Structure maintenance.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
