A Tameside restaurant has been handed a new two-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

The Hidden Gem, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Kiosk M, Market Place, Ashton-Under-Lyne, Tameside was given the score after assessment on October 11, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Tameside's 289 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 205 (71%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
