A Tameside restaurant has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Vedic Vegan And Vegetarian Restaurant, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 21 Market Street, Hyde, Tameside was given the score after assessment on January 12, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Tameside's 290 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 207 (71%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
