A Tameside restaurant has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Subway, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 47 Stockport Road, Denton, Tameside was given the maximum score after assessment on January 23, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Tameside's 289 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 200 (69%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
