Tameside restaurant given new five-star food hygiene rating

A Tameside restaurant has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Shree Bharatiya Mandal, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Shree Bharatiya Mandal Indian Association, 103 Union Road, Ashton-Under-Lyne, Tameside was given the maximum score after assessment on January 31, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Tameside's 288 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 207 (72%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
