A Tameside restaurant has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Gee X Community Centre, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Werneth House, Wych Fold, Hyde, Tameside was given the maximum score after assessment on February 1, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Tameside's 289 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 200 (69%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
