A Tameside drinking establishment has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

The George And Dragon, a pub, bar or nightclub at George And Dragon, 23 Bennett Street, Hyde, Tameside was given the score after assessment on February 21, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Tameside's 227 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 144 (63%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
