A Tameside drinking establishment has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

East Cheshire Harriers And Tameside Athletic Club, a pub, bar or nightclub at Sports Ground Dressing Rooms, Richmond Street, Ashton-Under-Lyne, Tameside was given the maximum score after assessment on February 16, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Tameside's 241 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 172 (71%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
