A Tameside drinking establishment has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Hare And Hounds, a pub, bar or nightclub at Hare And Hounds Inn, Luzley Road, Ashton-Under-Lyne, Tameside was given the maximum score after assessment on January 26, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Tameside's 240 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 171 (71%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
