Road closures: seven for Tameside drivers this week

Drivers in and around Tameside will have seven National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And they are all are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

M60, from 9pm July 4 to 6am August 31, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 clockwise and anti-clockwise j24 to j24 - carriageway closure for carriageway - Reconstruction/Renewal.

And a further six closures will begin over the next seven days:

M67, from 8pm August 3 to 6am August 14, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M67 eastbound and westbound, j3 to j3 - carriageway closure for inspection/survey.

M60, from 9pm August 5 to 5am August 8, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M67 eastbound and westbound, Denton Island to Hattersley Roundabout - carriageway closure for Horticulture (Cutting and Planting).

M60, from 8pm August 8 to 6am August 13, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 anti-clockwise J24 to J22 - Lane closure for Structure - maintenance.

M67, from 9pm August 8 to 5am August 10, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M67 eastbound and westbound, between Denton Island and junction 3 lane closures and carriageway closures due to general maintenance works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
