Road closures: five for Tameside drivers this week
Drivers in and around Tameside will have five National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And four of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

Hide AdThe latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
• M60, from 9pm May 23 to 7am June 11, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 Anticlockwise, junction 23 lane closures and slip road closure due to resurfacing.
• M60, from 9pm May 23 to 7am June 11, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 Anticlockwise, junction 24 lane closures and slip road closure due to resurfacing.
• A57, from 8am April 4 to 5pm August 5, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A57 westbound and eastbound, Mottram Moor, lane closures for Cadent gas.

Hide AdAnd a further two closures will begin over the next seven days:
• M60, from 9pm June 6 to 5am June 18, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 anti-clockwise, junction 24 to junction 23 - Lane closure for drainage.
• M67, from 9pm June 9 to 5am June 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M67 eastbound and westbound, J1a to J3 - Lane closure for inspection/survey.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
