Road closures: five for Tameside drivers this week

And three of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

M60, from 8pm March 17 to 5am March 21, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 clockwise 24 - 26 lane closures and mainline closures due to resurfacing.

A57, from 8pm March 14 to 3.30pm March 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A57 eastbound and westbound, Back moor to Gunn Inn, Lane closures for inspections.

And a further three closures will begin over the next seven days:

M67, from 9pm March 25 to 5am March 26, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M67 eastbound and westbound, between Denton Island and junction 3 lane closures and carriageway closures due to general maintenance works.

A628, from 8pm to 10pm on March 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A628 eastbound, Hollingworth, lane closure for utility works.

A57, from 8am April 4 to 5pm August 5, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A57 westbound, Mottram Moor, lane closure for Cadent gas.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
