Good news as food hygiene ratings awarded to two Tameside takeaways

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tameside’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tameside’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Petes Chippy, at 6 Valley Parade, Hattersley Road West, Hyde, Tameside was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 27.

And Mean Beanz, at 165 Ashton Road, Hyde, Tameside was also given a score of five on November 24.

It means that of Tameside's 331 takeaways with ratings, 139 (42%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
