Good news as food hygiene ratings awarded to two Tameside takeaways

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tameside’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tameside’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Loafers, at 77 Stockport Road, Denton, Tameside was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 23.

And Caprinos Pizza, at 13 George Street, Ashton-Under-Lyne, Tameside was also given a score of five on March 16.

It means that of Tameside's 328 takeaways with ratings, 130 (40%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
