Good news as food hygiene ratings awarded to two Tameside restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tameside’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tameside’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

McDonalds Restaurant, at Pamir Drive, Ashton-Under-Lyne, Tameside was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on February 15.

And KFC, at Union Street, Hyde, Tameside was also given a score of five on February 13.

It means that of Tameside's 287 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 200 (70%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
