New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tameside’s pubs, bars or nightclubs, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tameside’s pubs, bars or nightclubs, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Denton Golf Club, at Denton Golf Club Ltd, Manchester Road, Denton, Tameside was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on August 30.

And The Gun Inn, at Gun Inn, 2 Market Street, Hollingworth, Tameside was also given a score of five on August 30.

It means that of Tameside's 244 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 180 (74%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
