New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tameside’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Millbrook Fish And Chip Bar, at 392 Huddersfield Road, Stalybridge, Tameside was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on September 20.

And Loco Pizza, at 9 Old Street, Ashton-Under-Lyne, Tameside was given a score of two on September 20.

It means that of Tameside's 332 takeaways with ratings, 140 (42%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
