Food hygiene ratings handed to two Tameside takeaways

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tameside’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tameside’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Triple Bs Sandwich Shop, at 81 Manchester Road, Hyde, Tameside was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 10.

And Saltish, at 98 Penny Meadow, Ashton-Under-Lyne, Tameside was given a score of three on November 23.

It means that of Tameside's 326 takeaways with ratings, 136 (42%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
