Food hygiene ratings handed to two Tameside takeaways

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tameside’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tameside’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Freddys Chicken And Pizza, at 441 Manchester Road, Droylsden, Tameside was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 1.

And Megna Spice Indian Takeaway, at 109 Astley Street, Dukinfield, Tameside was given a score of three on November 1.

It means that of Tameside's 324 takeaways with ratings, 135 (42%) have ratings of five and just three have zero ratings.
