Food hygiene ratings handed to two Tameside takeaways

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tameside’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Hurst Cross Tandoori, at 167 Queens Road, Ashton-Under-Lyne, Tameside was handed a two-out-of-five rating after assessment on August 2.

And Tai Hing, at 163 Queens Road, Ashton-Under-Lyne, Tameside was given a score of one on August 2.

It means that of Tameside's 333 takeaways with ratings, 140 (42%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
