New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tameside’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tameside’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Caribbean Cookout, at 657 Manchester Road, Denton, Tameside was handed a one-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 14.

And King Shawarma, at 73 Manchester Road, Denton, Tameside was also given a score of one on November 14.

It means that of Tameside's 334 takeaways with ratings, 138 (41%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
