New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tameside’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tameside’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Pink Ladies Dessert, at 56 Manchester Road, Denton, Tameside was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on August 23.

And Smash'd, at 42 Manchester Road, Hyde, Tameside was also given a score of three on August 23.

It means that of Tameside's 333 takeaways with ratings, 138 (41%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
