Food hygiene ratings given to two Tameside takeaways

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tameside’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tameside’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Welcome Fish & Chips, at 8 Russell Street, Ashton-Under-Lyne, Tameside was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 20.

And Royale Tandoori, at 19 Nook Lane, Ashton-Under-Lyne, Tameside was given a score of two on October 20.

It means that of Tameside's 319 takeaways with ratings, 131 (41%) have ratings of five and just three have zero ratings.
