Food hygiene ratings given to two Tameside takeaways

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tameside’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tameside’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Megna Spice Indian Takeaway, at 109 Astley Street, Dukinfield, Tameside was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 24.

And The Original Abduls, at 100 John Kennedy Road, Mottram, Tameside was given a score of one on March 24.

It means that of Tameside's 327 takeaways with ratings, 130 (40%) have ratings of five and just three have zero ratings.
