New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to four of Tameside’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

• Rated 3: The Seahorse at 185 Thornley Lane South, Stockport, Tameside; rated on April 27

• Rated 3: Woondaal at 44 Stockport Road, Ashton-Under-Lyne, Tameside; rated on April 27

It means that of Tameside's 337 similar establishments with ratings, 147 (44%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
